通過很多唐代詩人的經(jīng)典的語句

The classic lines of many Tang-dynasty poets

來把它串聯(lián)成整個大唐盛世的

are woven together to create

一種音樂的形象

a musical portrait of the High Tang.

音樂風(fēng)格很多元

The style of the music is richly diverse,

琵琶又是剛?cè)岵?jì) 可文可武

and the pipa, both gentle and forceful, lyrical and martial,

非常適合去表現(xiàn)多樣化的一種手段

is especially suited to expressing this range.

紫色也是相對來說壓得住一點(diǎn)

Purple has the gravitas to match the music,

會用到一些宮廷的圖案

paired with motifs inspired by palace art

感受到唐朝的大氣之美

to convey the majestic beauty of the Tang dynasty.

開篇的時候我就用了塤

I begin the piece with the xindi,

非常的渾厚

its sound deep and resonant,

表達(dá)威嚴(yán)莊重

conveying majesty and solemnity,

展現(xiàn)長安的繁華景象

and depicting the splendor of ancient Chang’an.

到了后面的時候

Later in the piece,

我會采用梆笛

I switch to the bangdi,

它是會比較嘹亮高亢一點(diǎn)

which is brighter and more piercing,

讓你感受大唐盛世

letting the audience feel the vigor of the High Tang.

最后的《將進(jìn)酒》

For the final section, Bring in the Wine,

它是大氣磅礴

the music grows vast and powerful,

但是又直觸內(nèi)心的

yet strikes straight to the heart.

Within my drumbeats, I need to find

和眾生完全在一起的一種音色

a tone that joins me with all beings.

嗩吶其實(shí)很多人印象很深刻的

When it comes to the suona, many recall

是《百鳥朝鳳》

Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix,

它來模仿鳥叫的聲音

which mimics birdsong.

但是在這一章里面

But in this chapter,

它恰恰模仿的是人的感嘆

it mimics human sighs instead.

我們選了文天祥的《過零丁洋》

We chose Wen Tianxiang’s poem Crossing the Lingding Ocean,

圍繞的或許他在望著零丁洋

evoking the moment he gazes upon the Lingding waters

嘆零丁洋的心境

and sighs with the sorrow and resolve in his heart.

劉邦的《大風(fēng)歌》

Liu Bang’s Song of the Great Wind

童聲合唱來完成的

is performed by a children’s chorus,

也是歷史場景的一個真實(shí)再現(xiàn)

re-creating a real moment from history.

劉邦當(dāng)時回老家的時候

When Liu Bang returned to his hometown,

就有一個一百二十人的童聲合唱

a group of 120 children sang for him,

在他的指揮下唱

under his own direction.
