儂好，我叫七七，是上海野生動(dòng)物園的一只大熊貓（giant panda），馬上就4歲了。




這就是我，七七本七，邁著矯健的步伐向你走來(lái)


疫情以來(lái)的這些日子里，儂還好伐？屋里廂做點(diǎn)啥？休息得哪能？吃得好伐……？


我嘛，干飯香，不失眠，一切都好！這樣的生活，多虧了上海野生動(dòng)物園的飼養(yǎng)員們。


為了我和其他4個(gè)“圓滾滾”——嘉嘉、康康、芊金、雪寶，以及其他“小伙伴”，一些飼養(yǎng)員疫情發(fā)生后就沒(méi)有回家，一直在園區(qū)陪伴我們。


    The latest COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai has disrupted many aspects of daily life, including food supplies. It isn't just local residents who are trying to get their necessities through group purchases or government handouts, even the creatures at Shanghai Wild Animal Park in Pudong New Area are facing a similar issue.

    上海疫情影響了生活的方方面面，其中包括食物供應(yīng)。當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裰饕繄F(tuán)購(gòu)、政府發(fā)放來(lái)獲得必要物資，不光是他們，浦東新區(qū)上海野生動(dòng)物園里的動(dòng)物們也面臨著同樣的問(wèn)題。

比如，在我吃飯的問(wèn)題上，飼養(yǎng)員們可謂煞費(fèi)苦心。之前，我常吃的竹筍（bamboo shoots）里有些是從四川空運(yùn)來(lái)的，受到疫情影響，這部分食物起初在運(yùn)輸上遇到了些困難，所以飼養(yǎng)員們不得不馬上調(diào)整了我的食譜，并積極與交通部門(mén)協(xié)調(diào)。

現(xiàn)在，盡管運(yùn)輸頻率降低了，但每批竹筍的數(shù)量增加了，干飯不礙事。同時(shí)，飼養(yǎng)員還優(yōu)化了食物的儲(chǔ)存方式，以便增加庫(kù)存（increase the stock），確保讓我有飯吃、吃得好。


此外，我們園區(qū)也種竹筍，飼養(yǎng)員還會(huì)從上海的市場(chǎng)里購(gòu)買些蔬菜……總之，我吃飯不發(fā)愁。





    How to keep a sustainable supply of fresh bamboo - about 30 kilograms per day - to satisfy the demand of the five giant pandas living there has become a major job for the park officials.


    Before the recent outbreak, the park bought bamboo shoots from the breeding and research base for pandas in Sichuan province every week. This met some difficulties from April after the lockdown as air freight was impacted.

    So, the park quickly adjusted its bamboo supply plan to increase the stock to ensure that the pandas have enough food to eat during the lockdown. It also coordinated with transportation authorities to increase the amount of bamboo shoots it gets each time while reducing the frequency of buying them.


    Additionally, the park has been placing the bamboo shoots in cold storage to extend their shelf life.




 吃安逸了……


自3月中旬閉園以來(lái)，飼養(yǎng)員和我們幾個(gè)“圓滾滾”朝夕相處，對(duì)我們的照顧加倍。他們每天早起后第一件事，就是來(lái)我們的房間看望我們，然后讓我們晨練……


我們飯否、活動(dòng)否，甚至排便情況都要被他們每天“記錄在案”，而且每10天，我們還得“被迫”上秤一次，真實(shí)面對(duì)自己的體重……




咱就是說(shuō)，躺著，它不香嗎？


疫情期間，我們吃的東西都是嚴(yán)格檢查過(guò)的，我們的房間也要每周至少打掃消毒兩次。干凈！衛(wèi)生！安全！通通拿捏了！


    Caring for the pandas at the park has not been affected by the lockdown. Caretakers of the pandas have been living in the park since the close-loop management was imposed there in mid-March. The caretakers have also taken measures to ensure that the pandas are not infected by the virus.

    封控期間，動(dòng)物園對(duì)大熊貓的悉心照料并未受影響。三月中旬封閉管理以來(lái)，大熊貓飼養(yǎng)員們就一直住在園區(qū)。他們還采取多項(xiàng)措施確保大熊貓免受病毒感染。


    For example, all food provided to the pandas, including bamboo shoots, apples and oranges, is carefully examined and cleaned before feeding. The panda enclosure is also cleaned and disinfected at least twice every week. What the pandas eat every day is recorded, and they need to be weighed every 10 days.

    例如，所有供應(yīng)大熊貓的食物，包括竹筍、蘋(píng)果、橘子，在投喂前都經(jīng)過(guò)仔細(xì)檢查和清洗，大熊貓館也至少每周兩次清潔消毒。大熊貓每日飲食都被記錄下來(lái)，每10天還要稱重一次。


對(duì)了，疫情后，由于你們不能來(lái)，我們其實(shí)也會(huì)怕“空氣突然安靜”，所以，飼養(yǎng)員還要陪我們玩，假扮成游客，跟我們說(shuō)話，趕走我們的寂寞空虛（不冷）……


    Moreover, the keepers have been told to talk to the pandas and pretend to be tourists so that there is a semblance of normalcy despite these quiet times when there are no visitors to the park.

    Since last month, the park has been showing the pandas and other animals over livestreaming on Douyin at 9 am every day. The online sessions introduce more animal-related knowledge to people and enhance their awareness of wildlife protection while helping them kill time during the lockdown.
